HP-UX Internet Express version A.23.00

This version of HP-UX Internet Express delivers ModSecurity A.23.00-2.9.2.001.

HP-UX Internet Express version A.22.00

This version of HP-UX Internet Express delivers Ruby A.22.00-2.4.4.001.

HP-UX Internet Express version A.21.00

This version of HP-UX Internet Express delivers three components which can be downloaded separately.

HP-UX Internet Express version A.20.00

HP-UX Internet Express components for HP-UX 11i v3 are delivered in four software bundles. You can either download the bundles or the individual components from a bundle. Table 1 lists the bundle names and the components included in each bundle.

HP-UX Internet Express support

HPE does not provide support for any of the components that are delivered through HP-UX Internet Express. HPE provides support only for issues related to package (depot) installation and executable (missing library, so on). To provide feedback about such issues, send an email to the HP-UX Internet Express Team.

Issues related to the usage of a product or configuration are not supported. For any such issues, contact forums of corresponding open source product.


FAQ for support policy and guidelines for the Internet Express Products

1. What is the scope of support for IEX products?

Ans. As per support policy, HPE provides very limited support (packaging products and delivery) for Internet Express products.

Usage of a product or configuration related issues are not supported.

2. Contact for any issues or queries related to configuration or usage of Internet Express products?

Ans. Please visit the corresponding open source product website for details about user documents and support forums.

3. When does HPE plan to deliver newer versions of products in the Internet Express bundle?

Ans. HPE does not have plans to release newer versions of Internet Express products. Any new versions released will be made available at this location. Users can build open source products themselves by referring README.hpe/README.hpe, available with the current version of Internet Express products installed on the server.

4. Are Internet Express products on 11i v2 and 11.11 still supported?

Ans. HP-UX 11iv2 and HP-UX 11iv1 are no longer supported.

5. What should be done if the latest versions of the Internet Express products do not work as expected?

Ans. In situations where the product does not work as expected, please do one of the following:

  • Please post a query about the issue on the respective product website.
  • Download the latest version of the product from the connect site.
  • Alternatively, you can also rebuild the product by following the instructions from README.hpe/README.hpe, bundled with the current version of Internet Express.

6. a. swlist(1M) does not list my installed products even though the product is installed?

b. How to resolve errors related to installation of Internet Express products?

Ans. Check for any errors in the /var/adm/sw/swinstall.log and /var/adm/sw/swagent.log

Reinstall the product from the hp-ux internet express bundle.

7. Where do I download the dependent products for Internet Express products?

Ans. Download the latest version of the product from the 3rd party vendor connect site, if available.

Alternatively, you can also rebuild the product by following the instructions from README.hpe/README.hpe, bundled with the current version of Internet Express.

Internet products are installed under/opt/iexpress Connect products are installed under /usr/local.


Note for Net-SNMP product

There is a known issue with snmpwalk tool delivered with the Net-SNMP 5.7.2 version.

In certain scenarios snmpwalk fails with the “Destination unreachable” error.

To work around this issue, please download Net-SNMP 5.6.1 and configure it.
