HP-UX PCI Error Handling

HP-UX PCI Error Handling capability provides containment and recovery from PCI errors. , to access the downloadable feature.

HP-UX Role-based Access Control (RBAC)

The HP-UX Role-based Access Control (RBAC) security feature provides a mechanism to allow non-root users to perform selected administrative tasks. RBAC is an alternative to the traditional "all-or-nothing" root user model, which grants permissions to the root user for all operations, and denies permissions to non-root users for certain operations. RBAC partitions the root account's privileges and allows you to distribute administrative responsibilities by creating roles with appropriate authorizations and assigning them to non-root users. Select this link, HP-UX RBAC , to access the downloadable feature.

HP-UX 11i Security Containment

HP-UX 11i Security Containment provides three core technologies: compartments, fine-grained privileges, role-based access control (RBAC). These features allow you more control of access to and isolation of resources for system security. Together, these three components provide a highly secure operating environment without requiring that you modify applications for secure access. In addition, HP-UX 11i Security Containment provides an environment for several trusted mode security features, included in the HP-UX Standard Mode Security Extensions , available on standard mode HP-UX systems. Select this link, HP-UX 11i Security Containment , to access the downloadable feature.

HP-UX Standard Mode Security Extensions

The HP-UX Standard Mode Security Extensions provide security features including enhancements or changes to the HP-UX Auditing system, passwords, and logins. In previous releases of HP-UX 11i v2, these features were only supported on systems converted to trusted mode. These features are available, through the HP-UX Standard Mode Security Extensions, without converting the system to trusted mode. Select this link, HP-UX Standard Mode Security Extensions , to access the downloadable feature.
